Wayward Heyward

I'm with Xrlq

I’m sorry, but these calls to fire Dan Rather are not going far enough. If Dan Rather is CBS’s answer to Jayson Blair, Andrew Heyward is Howell Raines. Both must go.

Yes, the upstream firings must at least include CBS News President Andrew Heyward.  (Hat-tip InstaPundit.)

Not entirely related to this post, but Washington Post just released story:
"CBS Guard Documents Traced to Tex. Kinko's
Records Reportedly Faxed From Abilene"

and points out that this is 21 miles from Burkett's house. (thanks Drudge)

Don't forget Mary Mapes. She's most responsible for the content.

I once considered giving up and registering Xlrq.com as a backup, only to find out that someone is actually doing business under that name.

Fixed. How could I have missed that?

Dan Rather is not a journalist. He is a partisan pimp. He creates his adjenda and scrapes up whatever he can find to support it. I have not watched CBS news for years, because of him. He should go, and CBS should try to find a journalist to head their news department.
