Funniest line I've read tonight
Jay Nordlinger, in the Nov. 29th edition of National Review (subscription version):
On Election Day — before the results were known — a Harvard graduate student yelled joyously in a hallway, "I love America! I love democracy!" Someone shushed him, saying, "Enough of your homophobic views!"

Bill, Mikey,
I think the point is that the current liberal thought runs: America = bad; homophobia, racism, moral judgement = bad; therefore America = homophobic, racist, etc. ~ad infinitum.
There are several steps in between the two statements, but the person responding to the socially unaware grad student has made the transition to full mush-head, and thus the leap in logic was short-circuited.

That's some tortured logic you used to arrive at that conclusion. But the quote did come from The National Review, so I wouldn't expect one to be able to make sense of it easily ;)
