Ted Cruz on today's Fox News Sunday
I just watched Chris Wallace's interview of Ted Cruz from this morning's Fox News Sunday. It got me revved up. It certainly made me feel proud of my endorsement of, and campaigning for, this likely next U.S. Senator from Texas:
As I sometimes heard said on the prairies of west Texas whence I sprang: "Stronger'n train smoke!"
The contrast between Ted Cruz and Wallace's preceding interviewee, Obama flack David "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today" Axelrod, was stark and very bracing indeed.

HDTV is frequently unkind to Mr. Axelrod, as it is to many others, but watching his interview from this morning, I was left wondering whether he's recently had bad plastic surgery, or whether the Fox News makeup and lighting people had intentionally made him out to look like Bette Davis at about age 80 when hungover after a violent windstorm. He was positively cadaverous, and his features seemed to be pasted to his face, or perhaps attached with some sort of black Velcro. Axelrod made no effort to make his responses even remotely pertinent to Wallace's questions; he simply filibustered the same tired talking points that are the Dems' distraction du jour in long but random sequences.
At the end of the day I don't know that we can spare Mr. Cruz for the Senate. Were he to be a Guantanamo interogator I think at the end.., well you get the idea, we could have any terrorist screaming for the right to give us information.
